I've reversed thousands of caravans into workshops and other small spaces. I've also been travelling in our personal caravans for about 10 years. And, after all that reversing, my best advice is so simple it might sound silly: Always approach your destination so it's on your right hand side. For example, at a caravan park, drive past the site so your caravan is at roughly a 90 degree angle to the site - you want the back of your caravan to be in line with the edge of the site. Having your destination on your right hand side lets you look directly out your window to where you need to go - this is 100x easier than approaching from the left!
Happy travels!
